Avocado and seafood toast

Recipe for a mix that can be used for small canapes like here or for a larger toast, like this recipe. A fresh yet luxurious alternative to Skagen mess.

Ingredients

½ shallots

1 avocado

1 tomato

2 dl shrimp tails

1 dl crayfish tails

1 tbsp chopped dill

½ tbsp grated horseradish

½ lemon juice

4 tbsp mayonnaise

½ cup kesella (can be partially replaced with sour cream or creme fraiche)

Salt & Pepper

Canapé shell

Description:

  1. Mash the avocado in a bowl.
  2. Chop the onion and mix in the bowl.
  3. Finely chop the tomato fillets and mix in.
  4. Squeeze water out of the shellfish and coarsely chop.
  5. Mix together with all the other ingredients.

Pairs with:

Perfect mingling or hors dOeuvres for a finer dinner. Blanc de blanc champagne or crémant, for example.
