Our story
Bärlin Cuisine is our family’s recipe collection. The name comes from our surname, Bärlin, and the idea behind the site is simple: to gather and preserve the dishes that have meant something to us over the years — in one place, for our family and for anyone else who loves good food.
As a Swedish family, we cook with our roots in modern Swedish cuisine. Here, classic flavors meet new ideas, everyday meals sit alongside celebration food, and the simple shares space with the slightly more ambitious. Some recipes have been passed down through generations; others have taken shape at our own kitchen table over years of experimenting, failing, and the occasional small triumph.
