This is a fast food version of a Chinese fried rice recipe, which is very quick to prepare, especially if the various ingredients are pre-prepared – about 10 minutes of cooking time. Very tasty too!

Ingredients
25 g butter
Oil for wok
800 g chicken fillet
4 servings of cooked and chilled rice, preferably from the day before
2 eggs
0.5 tbsp glutamate
0.5 tbsp salt
2 tablespoons grated garlic, preferably from a can
1 tbsp grated ginger, preferably from a can
Chinese soy
Light soy
White pepper
Sesame oil
Optional: yellow onions, scallions, other leftovers
Description:
- The chicken can be prepared by cooking for a few minutes, and then shredded and cooled and saved. A voluntary step before it is to let it marinate in bicarbonate for 30 minutes.
- The rice should not be completely freshly cooked, but preferably chilled overnight.
- Split/cut the onion if used and measure all the spices.
- Beat the eggs.
- Heat oil and butter in the wok.
- Add the garlic and fry for 30 seconds.
- Add the chicken and fry for 1 minute.
- Pour in half of the salt and glutamate and stir.
- Pour in the ginger and stir.
- Pour in the eggs and whisk for a few seconds,
- Pour in the rice and stir.
- Pour over Chinese soy and mix around. It should get a light brown color shade in this step.
- Pour in the rest of the salt and glutamate.
- Pour over light soy and mix around.
- Pour over sesame oil and mix around.
Pairs with:
Water or beer is the best.
